Pay close attention to your thoughts. Thoughts are great teachers. They can be the gateway to the recognition of our true nature and they can provide insight into our unconscious beliefs. The moment we consciously recognise a thought, a process of dis-identification with mind and subsequent expansion of consciousness occurs.
When a thought arises, notice it. If you are able to notice the thought then clearly you are not the thought. You are separate from it. So who is the one noticing the thought? And where is the one observing this thought located? This type of enquiry and reflection can bring us closer to and allow us to experience the nature of our true self - pure, unlimited awareness. When we connect with this aspect of ourselves, thoughts from the mind lose their power over us and we can simply notice them from a space of calm clarity. We can also reflect upon the type of thoughts which consistently arise in the mind. Are most thoughts self-hating or are they self-loving? How we speak to ourselves with our inner-voice is an indicator of the unconscious belief patterns and traumas which are lodged within our system. With awareness all of these things are brought into the light of consciousness and anything which is not aligned with the truth of our being naturally falls away. ~ Louise 💙

Every challenge is a gateway for growth. Life can sometimes push us to the edge. We feel that we can't go on anymore. We feel that we're drowning in pain, suffering, stress. We want to give up because it's just too hard. While this place can seem terrifying and unsafe, it is actually a beautiful gift from the universe, because this place is a gateway for growth and expansion. It is in this place that we access strength within ourselves that we didn't know existed.
When you find yourself in this place of terror, however it may present itself to you in life, instead of fighting and struggling against it, embrace what is. Allow the pain, allow the stress, allow the suffering, without allowing the mind to identify with it. Observe. Notice. Simply relax into it, becoming fully present in the now. When we shift into this space of allowing, as opposed to resisting, a space of calmness opens up deep inside of us and we connect to a power, a strength that we could never imagine existed. From this space we often see with a different perspective because our system remains open instead of contracting and shutting down. New solutions appear and ideas present themselves which were previously out of our scope of vista. And we transcend the challenge with ease and grace, gaining new power and confidence. When we recognise the potential for growth in challenges we no longer fear them; we can embrace them, knowing that the situation is serving us and providing us with the gift of growth, be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. What gifts are currently presenting themselves to you in life? ~ Louise 💚 Do not try to hold on to any feeling or experience. Notice the coming and going of experiences. Life would be so boring if you experienced the same thing every moment, every day. The beauty is in the changing. Allow the changes to come and go. Do not grab onto them. Do not try to hold on to any feeling or experience. Stay present in your body, noticing what is happening within you.
From this place of noticing you can connect with a feeling of peacefulness. This peacefulness is not fleeting, as are the emotions. This peacefulness is where stability lies. This peacefulness centres you, grounds you. Stay in this place. After learning new, inspirational teachings it can be tempting to try to convince others that what we've learnt is 'the way'. This technique or that modality or this lifestyle is the 'right' one. The one that will finally bring happiness or success.
There can be a feeling of urgency that this new wisdom must be shared with the world. But often, wisdom in the form of recited words can be empty and void of meaning if there is no actual implementation of the teachings. It is only when people see the fruits that are born from the actual embodiment of being the teachings, of living them, that true inspiration occurs, which in turn inspires change. So what is the 'best' teaching or the 'right' way? The best way is to show the way. Simple BE it. Live it. And your light will inspire ❤️ ~ Louise The best way is to show the way.
